My nephew spends hours lining these up on his tile builds and the magnet on the back holds them surprisingly well, even when he knocks the whole thing over. The 12 figures cover a nice mix of roles, so there's no fighting over who gets to be the police officer.
The magnetic backs on these figures actually stick to our tile set, which I wasn't expecting — they hold on the wall pretty well. My daughter lines up the whole squad for roll call before bed. Twelve pieces means fewer fights over who gets which one.
My son is obsessed with the little police and military figures and they snap right onto his magnetic tile builds, which keeps him busy for way longer than I expected. The 12 pieces are sturdy enough to survive being stuffed in a backpack, though I do wish the set came with a couple more characters.
