My 6-year-old has been obsessed with these since they arrived. The magnetic tiles snap together way more solidly than the cheap set we had before, and he's built everything from a cube to a little house. The tin box is a nice touch too, keeps all 50 pieces from scattering under the couch.
Bought these for a road trip and the tin box is a lifesaver — everything stays contained in the cupholder instead of rolling under the seats. The magnetic tiles snap together well enough that my 8-year-old built a little pyramid without needing help.
