PicassoTiles magnetic Pixel Cube Puzzle (PMC400) transforms 400 magnetic 0.5 " mini cubes into colorful pixel art. Kids can connect magnet cubes from any side to build animals, characters, or 3D shapes. With 50 idea cards included, it’s perfect for building focus, color matching, and creative STEM thinking.
I grabbed these for my 8-year-old and she's been building pixel animals for two hours straight. The magnets hold tight even in 3D shapes, though you definitely need a flat surface to start your base.
The little half-inch cubes snap together on every side, which makes them way more forgiving than the flat tiles we had before. My son keeps leaving pixel animals all over the coffee table and honestly I don't even mind.
My daughter spent two hours building a pixel cat and didn't ask for the tablet once. The 0.5 inch cubes snap together from any side, so even her lopsided creations hold up when she carries them around.
